Pre-Juneteenth event Tuesday, June 18 at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 500 E. Park St., C. from 7:00pm -9:00pm. It’s being hosted by local youth from the NAACP ACT-SO program who are raising money to attend national competitions next month in Orlando, Florida. There will be entertainment provided by a variety of community members, including Amira Davis and her daughters, and Aaron Ammons. Food will be sold: $5.00 for adults and $3.50 for children. It’s a great family event for a good cause.
