Greetings All:

The Employment Opportunities Grant Program released an RFA earlier this week seeking qualified applicants. The purpose of the EOGP is to expand the number of people from historically underrepresented populations who enter and complete building trades apprenticeship programs and ultimately attain journey-level status within building trades unions.

In an effort to ensure that the RFA reaches a broad range of communities throughout the state, I am asking that you publicize the RFA to local organizations, community-based groups, and businesses throughout your regions.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the deadline for the Employment Opportunities Grant Program (EOGP) RFA will be extended an additional 21 days to Thursday, March 11, 2010.  If you have already submitted an application, you have the option of withdrawing it and resubmitting it by the new deadline. Award notifications will now be issued by Friday, April 2nd.
